hey all i know a few of us have had this problem but i thought i would give it one more go with the bov on my r33gtst if u dissconect it y does the engine stall when u come to an intersection and y do u loose like 2 psi of boost .

another qustion i installed the bleed type boost controller and i get like 3 psi boost spike it that because one hose is connected to the other side of the cooler rather than b4 it so it cant adjust properly and how come there is so much turbo lag when blocking off the bov if anyone knows my problem let me know cheers

hey pimpenr33 my mate did this to and his stalled a couple of times. There is so much lag because the bov is there to reduce a bit of that lag what builds up wen u let go of the accelerator because the air stays in the pipe with nowhere to go and pushes back onto the turbo i think thats right isnt it guyz? And the reason it stalls is because of the position of the bov in da skylines i think it sucks in extra air or something like that im not 100% tho

This has been covered many times past. The search button would answer all your questions and more.

Last time i go into it.

Its stalls and the ECU expects the BOV to be there. Its a fuelling related issue.

You shouldnt loose any boost at all

There is lag and the turbo slows down a lot more WITHOUT a BOV as the air does have to go somewhere when you close the throttle, and thats backwards
