Wow, its a genuine Prodrive Rally Sport 22B Type R V Spec Racing Edition

Now back ontopic:

Prestige and J-Spec are the more common import agents but with the end of the 15 year rule being announced, you have all but lost your chance at getting a well priced R32 GTR into the country. You will soon be able to import one under the RAWS/SEVS system but the costs will be significantly higher for you due to compliance plate costs

Royalstar: The "has to be stock" rule is already in force. The car has to be 100% standard when complied. If the car has minor mods that are easily removed it is possible to bring the car in, return it to stock for compliance then refit parts

Royalstar: very hard to judge. The number of dead stock (or near stock) R32 GT-Rs of sufficient quality (so you aren't risking being knocked back by the RAWS for a damaged car) is not going to be very big. So you have a much smaller number of cars available, and likely more demand for those cars. Although obviously a flawed formula, supply and demand has some relevance and suggests prices are likely to rise (near) stock R32 GT-Rs in good condition.

A higher initial purchase price means that taxes and duties also cost more (though the drop from 15 to 10 percent duty as of 1 Jan 05 will help).

Finally you have the cost of SEVS. Plate prices will again depend on supply and demand: I imagine they will be about $5000 to start with, and drop to $3000-3500 as more RAWS acquire authorisation for R32 plates.
