as far as i am aware the actual racing technique of left foot braking if used for ff cars that experiance understeer. By breaking with your left foot you shift the weight to the front of the car inducing slight oversteer all while keeping the revs up to blast out of the corner.

I left foot brake at certain times in an auto.

 

Stalling up 3000rpm of full boost launching goodness for one.

 

And warming the tires is another. Poor little dears get cold.

LFB would warm the Brakes and rotors, not the tyres :D

Hmmm I glad I'm not the one that is shelling out for your gearbox repairs...unless you all have dog boxes fitted.......

Dogbox.....in an auto car???? Do tell.

Last I looked there were planetary gear sets, brake bands, solenoids and lotsa oil.
