R33 ABS Removal

Was just wondering if anyone has removed their abs before and replaced it with just straight through lines bypassing the whole abs control unit?

This is for a circuit 33 incase anyone wants to know. Thanks.

Just pull the fuse, you won't need to remove any lines then....unless you are trying to save the weight, in which case go for it

What if say the unit was leaking? As there is no point in replacing a leaking unit your no longer going to use?

I have removed the ABS from my car completely and replaced the lines, I've had no issues at all.

cheers for that guys...so it looks good then...yeh trying to save weight and free up space in engine bay for other goodies. Were after the stopping power rather then safety. But yeh cheers for that.

i've got a ceffy, and the ABS module is leaking badly, i need to remove the ABS module as it is not needed anyway, does anyone have any idea how i go about this?

could a system be retro fitted to my non-abs 33 gtst??

You would need the hubs aswell unless non abs hubs are the same but there is a spot for the sensor in the hub.
