In previous post I mentioned I had problems with my GTR only reving to about 2500RPM when I was driving along.

Have been told this was limp home mode and that the AFM's might be stuffed, but the computer wasn't showing them not working. So my mechanic said we should replace the wiring loom and see if that fixes it.

While replacing the loom he noticed the immobiliser wasn't hooked up properly and wasn't allowing the correct signals to be sent to the ECU. Hence we actually found out in the end that the AFM's weren't actually working!!

Has anyone else ever come across this dodgy wiring problem?
