Air Box

I have fitted an hibrid intercooler to my R33 and want to stay with the original air box with a K&N panel filter. The problem is that the cold air induction pipe does not fit because of the new intercooler piping. Has anyone overcome this problem using another model or type of snorkel connection?

Hey man,

Yeah i had the same problem.. My dad fixed it for me.. he cut the bit on the airbox that was touching the pipe.. and then he turned the bit around so the curve goes inwards and then glued it back onto the box.. so the airbox is all sealed up and had a nice groove for the pipe to sit in. Seems to be working really well.

yeah i have running without the snorkel for about a year now... i am trying to find a nice flexible pipe to make a cold air feed...

how is it even getting any air? apart from the engine heat it is probably sucking up?

yeah i have the same problem with my piping i got no air box just it sittin in there i wana get some sort of cai into it any1 got a diy or some instructions
