Driving car for the first time

so my skyline has arrived from japan, and i have a temporary registration from state transport authority to drive to compliance centre - only problem is how can you cover this travel with insurance?

Whilst Just Cars & Famous Insurance will insure me, they will not cover the car when it isn't registered... so i guess i'm forced to hire a tow truck. how have other ppl overcome this?

Well dude it depends on how far do you have to drive it to the compliance center? If its like under 50k's dont stress and just take it easy.

The temp rego will incorporate CTP insurance. At least that way if you hurt someone there medical bills etc will be covered. Just drive carefully and there should be no problems.

is temp rego available in nsw?, I went to the RTA and the bitch said I had to take it to the nearest blue slip place and couldn't handle the concept that I needed to get it complied.

Had mine on a temp road certificate and believe that included 3rd party cover. That was Vic though. Check the fine print on the documentation
