So... Why do we allow people to create multiple accounts?

Mirko, AKA mirkop, nicknick, wreckedhead, and now always_me has just flaunted his bans and just created new accounts. Accounts that were known to be AE's (alter egos) but we don't ban his AE accounts? :confused:

Not just him specifically, I'm just using him as an example because he came up in conversation last night.

Same could be said about Alex/AnthonyK1/mines_datsun/redfc/etc etc... wreckedhead is just annoying, but Alex is ripping people off and we still don't ban him when we know it's him again with another AE account? :confused:

Banned users that sign up with a new AE should be banned again immediately imho

After all they are banned for a reason, so when they signup 5 minutes later with a new user account is sort of defeats the purpose of them being banned in the first place.

Wreckedhead as an example was banned for numerous antics most notably failure to follow the basic forum rules, yet no sooner is be banned but hes back as always_me, doing the same all over again

I third this. If the signup request comes from the same IP - ban the IP. If it comes from the same subnet - ban again and notify the mod and treat as suspicious. If it's verified that the banned user is signing up from the same subnet notify the ISP and ban that ISP from signing up. This way the existing users can still use the board properly. There would be a few people that wouldn't be able to sign up but it can be sorted out manually.

but seriously you guys take this forum to seriously, whats the big deal. i get banned for stupid things like making comments to stupid people who have no idea about cars, merli and blitz seriously you guys need to get out more the world doessnt revolve around this forum and your skyline pushing 200kw@flywheel. ive sold and vought stuff from people on the forums and have actually met a few good blokes, and for merli you must take a fancy to me if i came up in a conversation you were having last night. but sorry i dont go that way.

I have had this conversation with you so many times I have lost count. You have received ENDLESS warnings and requests from moderators to stop acting like a complete tool but it just doesnt seem to hit home.

All you do on this forum is talk sh1t, give other people a hard time and generally act like a idiot.

Furthermore, your past list of achievements includes physical threats against users and moderators on this forum which as I have said before, is MORE than enough grounds to permanently ban you.

Make a choice, either act with some degree of maturity if thats humanly possible, or find another forum.

i was banned for something that wasnt my fault because someone else ***ed up i copped the ban now im stuck with a user name thats not the one i wanted and lost all my PMs etc.

i think if the person is constantl causing shit ok ban em as many times as you have to, but look at the facts first.

i would also appreciate if you guys can do something about my old account

there is a warning points system.

You get enough points... you get a 14ban.

You mess up again, it becomes permanent

its damn hard to accure the 20points, so some people are really working hard to get themselves to that state. And when they do they whinge.

Rules are there, they are clear. Just follow them.

If you want to call me a natzi, then go ahead. The role of moderators here on SAU is to maintain the incredibly high standard that SAU is known for and uphold a safe trading environment with reagrds to the for sale section.

Everyone else comprehends, why cant you? Every single person is treated equal here, and whenever any mod sees something that breeches the simple rules that exist here, its acted upon immediately.

As R31Nismoid said, you arent just randomly banned, we do have a warning system. The fact that you managed to rack up enough points after repeated warnings shows that you do not listen, you do not learn, and you have no regard for this forum. I have tried politely asking you to curb your conduct and it doesnt seem to work. The issues you had with gtrken were two fold and he received the same warning as you.

This is a great forum and everyone involved in it works tirelessly to make it the best place it can be, and we do it on our own time so im not sure why you think you are somehow different than every other person on here that takes it on the chin if they stuff up, and gets on with it?

2GU UP2: How about getting off the bandwagon - to my knowledge you were banned by dAVE because of a bad trading experience between the two of you. I know nothing of this and if you want to discuss reopening of your original account then you can pm me, but if you try and sitr the pot in this thread, especially but daring to imply that there is some racial bias going on will get you nowhere. blitz i know this is an excellnt forum where people can trade and learn new things, i like buy and selling things here, chatting to people about ttheir cars, thats why i come back, i might have a very bad temper but as some people know im calm most of the time. and as for me stating some people are racially bias, it doesnt necessarily

I gave you one chance by deleting your post in the forsale section once then 6 days later you do the same thing so I gave you a warning which put you over 20 points

Its pretty simple if you don't like the forum or its rules piss off as they aren't going to change all you have to do is think before you type if this is to hard for you I will ban you instantly
