Never inject water or anything post throttle body unless you're doing direct port injection...

There is heaps of information on this on the internet, I have a CAPA based system on my shelf in my shed, not going to fit it to my R, probably a bunky. The thing is always that the volume that you displace by the water needs to be taken into account by adding more fuel. Another thing to note is that just injecting water will actually make you lose power, unless you use extra advance or boost..

Research.. Like I said, heaps of information on this on the net.. While you're at it, look into Toluene addition to your fuel, it is by far a better option, but once again, you must run extra advance or boost to gain any increase in torque/power..

Check out that link. Its a system that uses Co2 as a cooling medium. Basically whats inside a fire extinguisher. Only costs about $20 to fill the bottle and its not flammable.

A friend has purchased both the intercooler element and the bulb for inside the intake. Will have results when its installed.

Looks very interesting.

well i think the water spray onto the intercooler is a good thing. But am 100% against water injection, true it will let you run higher boost with out pinging but it doesnt make any power its self where as methonal would. even a methonal water mix is better. and iv always sprayed after the turbo b4 the tb.

Spraying water before the turbo is soo wrong, water forms droplets that are as sharp as diamonds, great if you want to grind down your compressor wheel slowly, but that is your choice to make..

The best Water/Methanol mix is 50/50, I used to run a water/methanol mix when I was running in engines to keep the intake charge as cool as possible, used to remove it once run in and only ever refit if I wanted to get some extra advance..
