I'll be there - hoping to lower my PB to a mid 13 (or thereabouts) from the 13.9 I did a couple of weeks ago before the car was tuned. Traction will be the issue though - damm Falkens! :)

It would be good to get a heap of Skylines out there on the night and hopefully the weather is dry and cool(ish) - looking forward to it.

I will be spectating.

Yeah, the radar looked ok mid morning, but it's not looking so promising now...there's rain areas popping up everywhere

I'll check it again in an hour's time, but if it's not looking any better, I'll probably give it a miss and look to get out there next week instead.

Outdoor temp here is 22.4c

This time the last 3 meetings its been up around 28c which means hopefully it will be under 20c by the time racing starts :)

Now all I have to do is workout a way to get my jack/wheels there

Sorry guys, I'm out - the radar is showing a heap of showers heading towards Penrith and I'm guessing that it'll probably continue along to WSID as well which is pretty annoying. I was keen to run tonight, but I don't want to rock up to get only 1 or 2 runs (if that) because of the rain. I'll definately be there next week though...

Good luck ben if you still decide to go tonight

    • I'm with both M & D here. There's little harm, unless you're prone to getting annoyed by over-enthusiastic displays of wild optimism and/or stupidity**. And there is potential benefit from basking in the warm glow of schadenfreude, if you get something from that. **The bookface generation seem to think that if they can see something on the internet, then it must have been posted just before, because there is clearly absolutely no history when everything is served up on some sort of dash, fresh for your algorithm fed delectation.
    • It's sure fancy, you better go faster now (although I notice it is still bluetooth to the braking system for now, maybe plumb it in?) Will be interesting to see what you think of it and how much you use the adjustment
    • I've got to be honest, I don't see the harm in people asking on old posts.....I've got a lot of stuff lying around that I never update, and you never know who will remember they have something around

    • Well, yeah. But not with that nasty plastic cap. Well, actually it's a very nice plastic cap - given its job is only to keep the transport oil fill inside. But I wouldn't trust it to remain strong for years.
