Tonight not long ago i was driving along a local road and there were 4 bout 19-20 yr olds walkin down road some in middle of road , i was saw another car coming so had to manouvor , when i did they F$%kin LIL fat guy THROWS A Beer bottle at my CAR when im driving nearly hit oncoming car and i was that PISSED OFF.

I skid to a halt , and turned around in RAGE, got outta my car and proceded to chase them down on foot, This big haird looser got his ass whooped and i am so sick of ppl disrespecting ppl like that . They wouldnt even come to me, i had to run them down. Only 1 of my and my gal in da car and the lil bitches just run.

I hope u guys dont ever get this happening to u , as i was so bloody mad i dont think i woulda been so controlled if my gf wasnt wif me. I was worried for her safety.

Lucky the baby didnt sustain any marks i can see , the bottle hit my windscreen and bounced off hitting the car i was avoiding.. So lucky i didnt have a smashed windscreen .. Who knows wat woulda happend to them lil peanuts

Sorry to express this but i have to let my anger out.

If this every happens to u just solve it ur way, cops wont do shit as i found out..

yer, that sounds like a plan :)

My next mod = Beanbag shooting Shotgun strapped to my front spoiler :)

Damn shame is all i can say ...

Good to see today i looked in light and there isnt 1 mark on my car. I cant beleive my luck

I got jumped yesterday by 3 guys in a car, they were riding my ass, so i just ignored them, they got heaps pissed i was doing the speed limit, threw shit at my car. Assholes then cut me off so i was forced to stop and got out started punching my passangers thru the doors, my door lining in the back needs some attention and i got bourbon and coke all over the car..

Its so ****ing shameful we live in a country full of jerks just looking for fights whereever they can get one

Damn Ryan thats such ashame to hear ..

Where do u live dood ? where did all this happen ? wat did u do , did u report it ? was there witnesses.

I think we need to have a SAU hotline to call for memberbakup in emergencys :D

unbelieveable...they got out and tried hitting you because you were doing the speedlimit!!!

i hope you got the number plates and reported them...bastards

bizzrevhead, just in the wrong place at the wrong time as the drunk cowards tried to impress each other by throwing things at other people's property...if they yell something out you can just shake your head and have a little laugh but throwing beer bottles is ridiculous...just say if a window was open and the bottle whacked your gf knockin her out, i would put it past a bf to go out there and beat the guy into a coma or something even though we should all consider ourselves as lovers not fighters

oh that's just ghey...can't believe it...what tools.

I've had a few encounters being the passenger in some pretty nice cars...everytime we ride past this house (in my street) this guy comes out and tries to attack the car...he tail gates my mates when they are picking me up...then when we drive off he's waiting in the midle of the street ready to bash the f**k outta someone, we always gotta try and dodgy him...pretty scary....Its happened about 10times now!

I'm just worried next time it'll be me!

Some jealous bastards out there.....

My kickboxing skills would come in very handy!

wylie...your ideas rock! Put me down for one BeanBay Shotgun!

liz thats some scary stuff !

i think we definatly gotta hook you up with some shotguns seein u got a line now, with this weirdo in your street :)

EOI: Group Buy - Bean Bag Shotguns Group Buy

and when you buy them you some little cards you leave with the offender that say

"You were owned, curtosy of SAU NSW... BIATCH !"

man its sad when you get these people who want to beat up on others, just cause of their ride.............. :)

damn thats scary liz ..

I hope u call the cops or something on him .

Or get the hell outta there :( theres some crazy ppl around , and last thing u would want is someone to damage ur car or intrude into ur personal space .

My gf lives across the road from a skitzo he thinks monkeys live with him and stuff and hes always carryin on outside ;)

I know ill be carrying something next time im driving around .

( oh and i DID tell the cops about wat happend .. Guess wat, They done Sweet FA!)

coulda killd someone!

thats terrible, but i understand how u feel, about 1 year ago now, i took my car out for the 1st time in a while coz it had the front bar and cooler fitted and few other minor things, went out with a mate and my gf, parked the car then about 15 guys rock up in 2 cars, a couple started payin out my #plate, even though all these guys didnt have cars and the ones that did were utter pieces of shit...

my gf could sense trouble was gonna break out so we decided to get in the car, as we got in the car i said good bye to a mate and one of the drunken drugged up dikheads, thought i called him a dumbc&nt so we basically ignored it coz he was like 17 and drove off, we had the windows down and heard him say, "come back dikheads if u dont stop ill throw the bottle at ur car" we didnt stop 2 seconds later "BANG" beer bottle hit the roof of my car, stopped got out, he started throwin punches at me but he was so drunk he nearly fell over, but one of his big mates came along at chased my mate, lucky he's fast and darted his attacks, my gf was callin the police in the backseat, i had no club lock, wheel brace nothin to protect ourselves, then these guys started yellin " get outa here dikheads, totally contradicting themselves since they told us to come back, as we got in the car one guy kicked my passenger door putting a huge dent in it, and 2 of them threw punches thru the windows, lucky for us that no one got hurt and especially my gf, it just sucks ass when theres like 15 on 2 u got nothin unless u have a gun..my mate that i said goodbye to tried to calm one guy down and ended up gettin punched in the face twice for it...

later that night we heard that they tried to start fights with alot of other guys...

the police as usual wrote it down but done nothing...

it sucks ass big time when u worry about goin out in ur own town

ben...

1st call is always your mates, 2nd call if needed is the cops (if you know you cant handle it and cant get away).

Lucky I never get into fights, i'm likely to either get smacked out like a bitch from 1 hit or put some 18yo punk in hospital for 3mths.

that's bad maen (from what i understood - u got shocking spelling/grammar man :D).

at least u beat the k*nt(s?) up.

I hate these little jealous fags. i keep a baseball bat in the back seat but i think i should get me a club lock instead so that it doesnt look suss :O

damn thats scary liz ..

I hope u call the cops or something on him .

yeah I might call the cops next time...it would be interesting to see if the cops help me out. I've noticed no guys get any action out of them...but the girls might.

and its so sad to hear everyones stories...why the hell do people gotta be like that....god its nuts.

Welcome to Sydney folks! A town which is quickly filling up with c0ckmasters and w@nkers.

Last time some lil c*nts were walking the street like they owned it. I had to drive my CRV around the c0cks. One of them decided to bang my side window which sh*t me up. I Slammed the brakes and hit reverse at warp speed. Look on their pathetic faces.... priceless.

    • I'd be installing 2x widebands and using the NB simulation outputs to the ECU.
    • Nah, it's different across different engines and as the years went on. R32 era RB20, and hence also RB26, the TPS SWITCH is the idle command. The variable resistor is only for the TCU, as you say. On R33 era RB25 and onwards (but probably not RB26, as they still used the same basic ECU from the R32 era), the idle command is a voltage output of close to 0.45V from the variable resistor.
    • It's actually one of the worst bits of Nissan nomenclature (also compounded by wiring diagrams when the TCU is incorporated in ECU, or, ECU has a passthru to a standalone TCU).... the gripe ~ they call it the TPS, but with an A/T it's actually a combined unit ...TPS (throttle position switch) + TPS (throttle position sensor).... ..by the looks of it (and considering car is A/T) you have this unit... https://www.amayama.com/en/part/nissan/2262002u11 The connector on the flying lead coming out of the unit, is the TPS (throttle position sensor) ...only the TCU reads this. The connector on the unit body, is the TPS (throttle position switch) ...ECU reads this. It has 3 possible values -- throttle closed (idle control contact), open (both contacts open, ECU controls engine...'run' mode), and WOT (full throttle contact closed, ECU changes mapping). When the throttle is closed (idle control contact), this activates what the patent describes as the 'anti stall system' ~ this has the ECU keep the engine at idling speed, regardless of additional load/variances (alternator load mostly, along with engine temp), and drives the IACV solenoid with PWM signal to adjust the idle air admittance to do this. This is actually a specific ECCS software mode, that only gets utilized when the idle control contact is closed. When you rotate the TPS unit as shown, you're opening the idle control contact, which puts ECCS into 'run' mode (no idle control), which obviously is a non-sequitur without the engine started/running ; if the buzzing is coming from the IACV solenoid, then likely ECCS is freaking out, and trying to raise engine rpm 'any way it can'...so it's likely pulling the valve wide open....this is prolly what's going on there. The signal from the connector on the flying lead coming out of the unit (for the TCU), should be around 0.4volts with the throttle closed (idle position) ~ although this does effect low throttle shift points if set wrong, the primary purpose here is to tell TCU engine is at idle (no throttle demand), and in response lower the A/T line pressure ... this is often described as how much 'creep' you get with shifter in D at idle. The way the TPS unit is setup (physically), ensures the idle control contact closes with a high margin on the TPSensor signal wire, so you can rotate the unit on the adjustment slots, to achieve 0.4v whilst knowing the idle control contact is definitely closed. The IACV solenoid is powered by battery voltage via a fuse, and ground switched (PWM) by the ECU. When I check them, I typically remove the harness plug, feed the solenoid battery voltage and switch it to ground via a 5watt bulb test probe ; thing should click wide open, and idle rpm should increase... ...that said though, if it starts & idles with the TPS unit disconnected, and it still stalls when it gets up to operating temperature, it won't be the IACV because it's unused, which would infer something else is winking out...
    • In the context of cam 'upgrader' I mean generally people who upgrade headers/cams - not my specific change. I mean it makes sense that if I had a bigger cam, I may get more false lean readings. So if I went smaller, I'd get less false lean readings. To a point where perhaps stock.. I'd have no false lean readings, according to the ECU. But I'm way richer than stock. My bigger than normal cam in the past also was giving false rich leanings. It's rather odd and doesn't add up or pass the pub test. Realistically what I want is the narrowbands to effectively work as closed loop fuel control and keep my AFR around 14.7 on light sections of the map. Which is of course the purpose of narrowband CL fuel control. So if I can change the switch points so the NB's target 14.7 (as read by my WB) then this should be fine. Haven't actually tested to see what the changed switchpoints actually result in - car needs to be in a position it can idle for awhile to do that. I suspect it will be a troublesome 15 min drive home with lots of stalling and way too rich/lean transient nightmare bucking away for that first drive at 2am or whevener it ends up being. Hopefully it's all tune-able. Realistically it should be. This is a very mild cam.
