Cam Gear

Good day all, I have done a quick search but couldn't really find an answer to this question, so i'm hoping someone can help. This might be a n00b question but here goes.

I have a 32 GT-R, with the regular mods, powerFC, exhause etc etc and also will be throwing on a pair of GT-SS turbos. I just ordered TOMEI PONCAMS, injectors and a few other bit's a peices, in this order of parts I ordered TOMEI cam gears, but only received the EX cam gear. Now the question is do I need both in/ex cam gears to get the best results? will just the exhaust cam gear be enough?
