Wastegate Question

would the location of the wastegate signal source position drawn in the pic. attached be damaging to my turbo. I have fmic with pipe crossing over top of eng and boost feed to wastegate comes from bottom pipe(compressor outlet to intercooler).this is on my series1 R33.

Info would be appreciated.

As long as the actuator pod can receive an accurate amount of boost to activate the diaphram. Usually it's not a good idea to T piece from the same line but a simple pressure test will tell the story.
