OMG. I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before but I just used some Meguiars PlastX on my headlights and the plastic has cleared right up. I used to have that yellow fade (that looks like its on the inside) with that slightly scratched look. I put some plastx and its worked soooo well. And for $19, its awesome.

I even wish i took before and after pics but the headlights look brand new. Just thought I'd share.

My only problem is that it comes back after a few months. Has anyone found a way to permanently fix this problem?

Buy new headlights..lol. That yellow shit is the plastic being deteriated from acid rain in Japan so I dont hink you can permanantly fix it.

Acid rain? Thats a new one.

We must have acid rain here in australia too to explain why it also happens on the EF Falcons. I think you will find its from UV light from the sun. People with plastic lenses should also use "UV Cut" globes.

Cheers

Matt
