help with carbon bonnet...

hey all just bought my self a carbon fibre bonnet today..

wondering if anyone has installed one..

any hassels with installing them..

thinkin about giving it ago my self..

anything i should watch for?

also anyone wanna gimme a hand lol (provide lunch) hahah

i'm from metro syd area.

easy mate , take off your one put on the carbon on should line right up , i got 2 mates to hold bonnet while i took care of the bolts.

if you dont have freinds that can help drop me a pm , what are we having for lunch?

should do but sometimes they may need a bit of fine tuning by a panel shop.

Tip to you if you haven't thought of it already - take your window sprayers out and trial fit them to your carbon. If they fit take your old one off and whack your carbon on.

I'd hate to take my hood off and put the carbon one on just to find out the wiper thingies didn't quite sit right and it had to come off to get it modified.. no wiper water for me for a while

I used a small file to make my spray thingy holes bigger. Didn't take too long. Just dont slip! Mine took a lot to fit. Bonnet was shorter that the original and slightly different shape. Had to pull the guards in tighter at the front.

and leave car in sun for a while after putting it on.

they will settle down in the heat.

it was done... i need digi cam so i can load up picsss.. unless i can send MMS to u gR33Dy

it was easy to put but the sprayer fitting took the longest

A good carbon bonnet bolts straight in, no mess.

Mine is OK... and it took 15 mins to go on.
