Bonnet catch release not working?

hi all,

my broker has emailed me to say that my new r32 gtst has a broken bonnet catch release.

has anyone heard of similar?

what should i do about it? i'm mostly thinking about when it arrives in oz and i need to change the battery to get the thing home.... :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

mine snapped off over the weekend as it was dodgy and I pulled it a little too hard in frustration :Oops:

It's not too much of a worry, as you should be able to open it without it. You just have to get on the ground, reach up underneath and pull one thing one way, and then just push the latch up and it should open.

It's fairly easy on an R32 anyhow. May be slightly different on R33..

oh, legend, thanks heaps mate. i was a bit worried about how i'd replace the battery for the drive home. feel better now.
