its easy

there are some stock cars that are turbo & supercharged

it just uses a clutch that operates the blower untill a certain boost pressure is being made by the turbo...then the blower is disengaged . the result...no lag and a big arse top end as well

unless there is some extremely tricky pressure switching device

What about a simple non-return valve in the blower output shaft? As long as there was a vent somewhere in the blower for excess pressure once the turbos took over (or a clutch system as already mentioned) it should work. Not sure, it may still be a fake, but I don't see why it has to be.

If its  photochop, they also went to the trouble of modifying hte diagrams on the wall behind it which show how it is supposed to work... I'd say its genuine.

:werd:

i looked all over overboost.com to find it again but was unsuccessful

its a good theory, ands if thats a photoshop, thats damn good. but i agree, if its just plain piping it probably wont work. its cut of in the picture, but there could be something down there..butterfly valve..who knows..
