Need your Advice oh wise ones

hey fellas my Ford Falcon XT got scratched pretty bad on the front panel.......about a inch a half long and i thin kit goes all the way through the paint. i got touch up paint and stuff but i just wanna ask what u guys think i should do to make it look good again and so my"lil paint job" doesnt look shit.

i dont wanna sand back the whole panel or anything so can i just get some general advice as to how i should do it to make it look best.

i know this prolly been asked but gotta run to uni and dont have time to search sorry.

Get a little pot of touch up from the dealership, mix a little bit of thinners with it, then dab your paint brush in and 'dab' the thinned paint into the scratch.

Then don't touch it till it's dry.

just curious could u be a lil more detailed with what thinners and how much i should use percentage wise

fistly mask up around the scratch so you dont get paint everywhere, try to come as close to the scratch as possible, then add thinners to your paint mixture, on a 100mls of paint youd add a few cap fulls of thiners into the mixure, dont add to much as you want the mixture to be a little thinck so it doesnt dribble, anyways try to find a nice art brush to apply the paint, dont DAB IT ON as you will leave it looking rough, try to apply a nice thin coat inside the scrath and let it dry for a few hours, then ater its dry add another layer till the scratch blends out. ( it might be a long shot but i usualy mask up the area and touch up panels with an air brush, then only cost about 25 bucks from bunnings if you have a small compressor its the best was to get the job done) brush isnt a bad option its just not the best. good luck
