G'day guys

I am planning to buy cefiro in the future, but there are something bothering me.

I want to have better brakes and better grip.

At the moment I have aftermarket wheels off skyline with 5 stud. I really love the wheels and I would like to use them on my future cefiro.

Will the hub from s14 200 sx fit cefiro? or as s14 have 4 pot brake will the whole stub axle and hub unit of s14 200sx fit to cefiro strut and control arm?

Thanks guys

Id you want to use the S14 or S15 hubs you will need to get the lower control arm (should still be attached - much easier this way). This bolts straight up to the Cefiro mounts. Cefiro shocks will bolt straight on also, as will the caliper (der, its on the hub). Simple!

You can also use moog ball joint. And just buy the spindle and hubs and caliper and brakes.

i am trying to sell mine as I bought the ball joints and the hubs off a s14, but only ended up using 1 hub and still have both spindles, ball joints, and the calipers and rotors, and 1 hub.

If you want em make an offer

here is a site to check out.

if the stock ones are stock S13 brakes which im sure they were, then couldnt u just do the upgrade pack from g-13 garage?? its like 800 or something for R33 brakes

I emailed them 2 months ago about this, and a locker diff... Still haven't heard back. I'm sure their busy.. But not to hear anything back kinda annoyed me.

Can any one confirm the email address on the site is still correct?

I know that I can buy the adaptor for using r33 brakes but I want 5 stud as well as I want to use my old wheels (Volk TE-37 off my R33), I'd fallen in love with those wheels.

However I am not sure if the skyline hub will fit to the cefiro stub axle, so I need the information from you guys about this. If they fit it would be sweet.

I don't want to use the stud adaptor considering the safety.

yeah the hub from a skyline wont fit on the s13 spindle, you need to get new spindles, and I am not sure if the offset is going to be right if you try and bolt on skyline brake and spindles???

You got to go either S14, or buy upgrade hubs, which you can buy but very expensive, I had a look and decided not to as you only really temporarily fixing the problem.

As I said I have got all you need for s14 front except for 1 hub if you wanna buy, and I dont want much cash for them.

    • Welcome Alice......hope you have a bit more luck from here on! What was done in the build?
    • Hello! I'm new here, I have an R33 GTST that is currently being finished up! Last year was pretty rough, blew two stock turbos so I decided to build the car. Has been down since November, but I get it back next weekend!
    • Hello, I believe my car was imported to America in the 2000s by Kaizo Industries. Would anyone be able to help me find more info on them? I've only found all the basic stuff like that paul walker bnr34, them being shutdown by feds, just stuff like that. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
    • I am using Motec M150.  I am not working on the car myself actually.  My workshop is giving all these info, they are quite reputable in the industry and are very familiar with Motec and RBs and have done a few big setups with VCam and single turbo on RBs.  In fact, they built and tuned my engine from day one.  But they are stumped with my engine at the moment and cannot work out how come the compression is so low with the VCam. They told me that they have now swapped in some Kelford cams (without the VCam) and can achieve around 130psi compression and the low end torque is better, but now the engine is doughy as.  It boosts and peaks at more than 1000rpm slower, with twin HKS GTIII RS, it doesn't get full boost until over 5000rpm. I have always thought the VCam was a bit disappointing at the low rpm. To a point I had to ride the clutch a fair bit to get up a small hill from stand still.  That was when I had a clutch.  Now changing to a 8HP, I don't have that luxury and this problem has become a major issue. I am beginning to think the VCam never work since the day it was installed.  Maybe it was just sitting at the most advanced point, that is why it went good at top end but very ordinary at the bottom.  Therefore, with the help of the Holinger 6 speed and paddle shift, as long as it was moving, it drove pretty good.
    • yeah, there's a country that recently started importing Skylines, I blame them.
