ECR033
Just looking for some recommendations on reputable exhaust shops, preferably in the Hills/Parramatta area. I only want to replace my standard dump/front pipe and cat with larger flowing items, so it's not overly complicated work - but based on a previous experience with a supposedly reputable exhaust shop in Liverpool (who shall remain nameless, although it's wouldn't be rocket science to figure out which one) whereby I had to go back 3 times to get things repaired, all the result of bad workmanship, I just want to make sure I don't get bitten twice by a dodgy workshop. Any suggestions would be great - thanks guys. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/66335-exhaust-shop-recommendations/ Share on other sites
nedb
I recommend Liverpoold Exhaust. Jimmy was really good to deal with. I'm very happy with the work done on my R32. If its "not convinient" for you to go there try Hi Tech mufflers. They were recommended to me when I was looking for a place to get it done. Blitz
Hi Tech do fantastic work - definately worth a trip to either their leichardt or darlinghurst shop Alternatively, why dont you buy one of the off the shelf dump/front pipe combos from UAS and they can fit it for you in the workshop rather than messing around with a custom job. CerealKiller
buy a dump/front pipe and cat off BATMBL (For Sale section). I'm fairly sure it's cheaper than what the workshops will offer. You could then install it yourself or pay a mechanic for an hour of his time. ECR033
Thanks for the advice guys – much appreciated Just to clarify my original post (as it may be a little misleading), I’m only looking for an exhaust shop to ‘fit’ my dump pipe and hi-flow cat as opposed to getting a custom job done. I’m already in the process of purchasing the dump pipe and cat from BATMBL and just want to take it to someone who’ll do a good job fitting it. Moanie
ooohhh!! hahaha... shows how much we actually read posts here i think any exhaust place should be able to fit the dump pipe and cat! just watch them while they do it I also like sound master mufflers on parra rd at five dock... they did a great job with 'fixing' my cat for my defects!
