I just recently got myself an R34 GT-T, in total stock format, and was a little curious how much PSI the stock turbo runs? According to the boost guage in there by standard, it goes upto 1 kg/cm2, which apparantly converts to about 14psi! If this is true, then there's something wrong with my car, because it certainly doesn't feel like that much boost :P So is the stock boost guage hideously wrong? Or am I doing the conversion wrong? Does anyone know the actual stock PSI rating of the turbo? Cheers :)

an ABSOLUTE STOCK AS A ROCK example should read around 7-8psi boost and only reach 3/4 of the way on the factory boost gauge.

If yours goes all the way to the one either your boost guage is faulty or the car has a bleed valve installed which has increased the stock boost.

stock turbo doesnt like anything near or above 1bar of boost....ie 14psi.

Yeah, I figured that was about right, I'll have to keep a closer eye on the guage next time I drive her, and see just how far she does go.
