$5k budget

Hi. Im thinking of spending $5k on my R33 GTS-t. So far it has POD, 3" zaust from turbo, 'cooler and is lowered with mags.

Any suggestion as to what to spend this $5k on? i admit i dont know much about this stuff, but was thinking maybe new turbo, injectors, fuel pump, computer etc. does anyone have any advice about this stuff? brands, sizes etc.

Hey mate i have a turbo package that would suit you, its only $1000,00. Which includes turbo, waste gate, all braided lines and chrome rfittings to suit, also comes with a hks pod filter and custom turbo blanket. That would leave you with $4000 and you could get a power fc and hi flowed injectors fitted and tuned for $2500. Than get a fuel pump bout $400 fitted and than the use the rest to set up the turbo it come with a factory warranty as well. Just a thought i can send u pics of the turbo if you like.

I think you need to work first a power target, or some sort of goal you want to achieve with your car. This will determine if you will blow your $5k away, or make you smile.

im looking for something between about 220 and 250. i could settle for 200 if thats more achievable at 5k.

nengun had a gtrs for rb25 kit for $4500 i think it was. powerfc, boost controller kit, gtrs turbo, injectors all fittings and gaskets etc. would be well suited. however you would still need a clutch, good tyres and a set of cams for more midrange power. the gtrs on rb25 can do around 260rwkw (ish) check out rb25 turbo upgrade thread a few months ago.

0 to 100 in 4.88 and 13.34 (unofficial). it wasnt measured on a track is what im saying. havent tried recently and want to goto calder soon

what about a gcg high flow? ~ 2600

injectors ~800

pump ~400

power fc or microtech ~1500

thats just over 5k. Not 100% sure on prices but left a little bit for install i guess.

I just did the gtrs $2912, 6 nismo 555cc injectors $939, power fc and boost kit $1510 + $250 shipping got 270rwkw at 1.2 bar and good response. Also need z32 airflow meter $295 and dyno tune and installation. But you could do it with out the z32 and injectors and keep the boost a bit lower and keep it under 250rwkw.

If you dont want to drop the whole 5 gees at once

mabey fork out for a Power FC and get it tuned

and get an EBC as well and wind the boost up to 10psi

that should get near 200rwkws ? shouldnt it, would be an easy start and not to hard on the wallet. mabey grab a new fuel pump as well ?

Jaff, mate of mine has r33 sII with 3"exhaust from turbo/airfilter/98ron fuel on 12psi, cool night @ WSID he ran a 13.5 pass which impressed us both...

cheers, i only have about 170rwkw but it's on 95RON (best we can get in tas).

I hope to go for a run soonish and am hoping for under 14sec pass.
