Depends if he wants flutter or not. Pod filter will be good fluttering. And im not trying to turn this inot an arguement about fluttering. It happens every week here

Having a pod filter doesnt make your car "flutter" or whatever. It makes you be able to hear the BOV venting into the intake. Im pretty sure flutter is due to air getting chopped by the compressor blades because the BOV is blocked off or too tight etc.

Get a short shift kit and a rear strut brace? Copies are just as good as jap brand name parts

I was of the understanding that the air trying to rush back through the turbine blades is what causes the flutter... air getting chopped around as the blades of the turbine wheel are spinning the opposite way to bring air in and creates a kind of turbulence; and in turn slows down the compressor wheel -> Creating a bit of lag.

The plumb-back bov's don't make much noise at all (as all the piping is enclosed etc). You hear the flutter more because the pod filter is more open than normal and generally not in an air box to cover up the noise.

A N Y W A Y . . .
