undefinedHi, need a bit of help and direction here. How the heck do you physically change the Oil Filter in the GTR R32. I cannot even get my hands down between the side wall and the Collector pipe let alone reach under the collector pipe to undo the filter. I can’t even see where you would get the filter out unless it was “dropped” down, but then how would you fit the new filter?

What an I missing here? Is there something that has to be removed to make the filter accessible? Your assistance is most welcome.

You need to remove the large pipe from the intercooler to the intake plenum.

You will then be able to get your hand/filter wrench in there to get it out. You pull the oil filter out over the alternator to get it out.

If it's really tight, drop the alternator out as well for better access.

I highly recommend getting a oil filter relocation kit ASAP..........!!!

Ah-ha Thanks old mate, that makes sense to remove the large pipe, but I wasn't sure if there wasn't another way to do it. But I can see it makes more sense to get an oil filter relocation kit, unfortunately it'll have to wait a few more pay days. I have seen them quoted around $375 +/- but it would sure cut down on a lot of @#%$* whilst trying to do an oil filter change.

for around 700-800 you can get a nice large oil cooler and and a filter relocation kit. by Trust

or

for about 250-300ish a relocator kit which mounts it to the right strut tower also by Trust

You don't have to remove the pipe. Once you've done it once it all makes sense, you have to move some of the electrical connectors and vac piping but your arm will fit. If my arm can fit, your arm can fit.

yeah - as squizz said, you DON'T need to remove anything, just move some of your pipes aside, I found the boost controller hoses to be most in the way (I also re-reouted some other stuff at the time) - mine is dead easy to reach now :P
