Help

I want to put some wires through the firewall but can't find anywhere, have tried going through the main wiring grommet but no go. I don't mind drilling a new hole but where is safe? next to accelerator pedal? or has anyone found another way? I am only putting some gauge wires through and would prefer going through a grommet in the firewall old or new.

I asked this a while ago, maybe do a search for the exact details. From memory, the guys suggested going in through the main wiring grommet which is outboard from the accelerator cable:cheers:

My main wiring grommet is on the passenger side behind the ABS and I can't even push a coathanger wire through it. The rest of the firewall is covered in sound deadening and I really don't want to pull it off trying to find another spot.

When we wired my boost gauge we went through one on the passenger side. Sort of in the middle of the passenger side halfway up. Does that make sense? I'll see if I can get a pic of the wires going through it. We had to get some wires and a small plug through and it was no probs at all. We did have to make a nick in the grommet though.

not sure how similar this is to the r33, but i ran them through the inside of the wing, then dropped in through the gromet just under the door hinge

I'll see if I can locate where my wires for the defi guages were run tonight after work. If I can locate them and there is anything useful I can share I'll post up.
