Car transport help! Syd -> Melb

Hey y'all,

I need some help with transport companies for getting my car from the workshop in Seven Hills (NSW) to Melbourne. Just wondering if anyone knows any good companies, and any details like transport time, insurance, and costs?

Can't drive it down on a UVP because i can't get it insured unless it's regoed - A friend had hooked up a trade plate for me (which includes insurance) but idea was shut down by parents so yeah, looks like trucking for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Ash, I had to drive down with my mate because he works for the place that owns the trade plate. An employee has to be in the car, them the rules unfortunately.

Damn.... R34's rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First ever drive of any kind of Skyline!! Car is f*cking sensational!!! A lot of fun pulling over to the side of the Hume Hwy and legally booting it up to 110

No front numbers plates aren't a bad thing either

hahha, this car was bought June '04 And it's still not rego'd!! No compliance plate yet... stil a few weeks off, but got some stuff to fix anyway, thanks to the fugly spoiler i just removed yesterday....

thanks foznice. I hadn't even sat in a R34 before! eheheh, only skyline i had been in was Ni's 32. But yeah as alan said, it really is an experience to drive a powerful car for the first time. I never really gave her heaps... plus had 1 rim in the boot, 3 in the back seat and a mate in the passenger seat, but it's a slight jump from the pulsar, to say the least.

I've got the Xenon assembly still, but the low beams are now H1 - Gonna buy BATMBL's Xenon kit, get those puppies back in where they belong.

2 Surprises. 1, i've got a turbo timer , and a 12 CD Stacker in the boot So that was nice. Advan AD07's still have lots of tread, and i'm actuallly like the AVS Model 5's now... will def put them on after the car is regoed. Also helps when the rears are 255's
