From my understanding they are really too big for a small 2.0lt (your Rb20det for example). The turbo porka’s first came out in a 3.0lt (911 shape) and even they are a little laggy, but they have the low down torque to help it along.

Maybe look into a turbo off a 944 turbo? But then again you might as buy a tried and tested up grade for the rb20det, I’d assume it’ll work out cheaper in the long run.

I think the K24 is the KKK turbo that they used on the 944 Turbo. The 911 Turbos had K27's.

A little clarification on who makes what for whom;

Garrett make the turbos for HKS

IHI makes the turbos for Apexi

Mitsubishi makes the turbos for Trust

and KKK make the turbos for Blitz

:(

After a little re-seach the 944's came with two different K26 version's...

the stock 944 Turbo uses a KKK K-26#6 turbocharger for the '86-88 model cars (engine M 44.51) and a K-26#8 turbocharger for the 88½-91 model cars (engine M 44.52). For KKK turbochargers, the size of the compressor housing is designated by the first number (K-26) and the size of the turbine or "hot house" is indicated by the second number (#6 or #8 in this case). As we mentioned before, the larger turbine of the K-26#8 allows it to maintain maximum boost longer than the earlier cars which results in a higher peak torque and horsepower.

Need more info on what this K24 came off Waldo. Year, model and specs of car.
