yeah they arent targeting bikies on harleys, they are trying to get us bcoz we drive around lapping up and down. if bikies were doing that  all day they would be out fining them 2. its crap i know, but now the majority of cars cruising round are imports they crack down on any 1 who drives 1, even if you never come out and just drive to work and back. if your in the wrong place at the wrong time too bad. its descrimination at its best.

your so right. The majority of police wouldnt know a thing about bikes in regard to what the laws are, not to mention theres sure as hell no traffic squad for bikes.....its just what comes with owning an import these days....it sucks but theres not a great deal you can do about it, perhaps just hope lots of ppl go out, buy motorbikes and start modifying them like in "torque (LAME ASS MOVIE)" maybe the cops will shift their focus to that then...

Ha Ha TORQUE!!!!! if ever there was a ghey movie that is it, even if ice cube starred in it (The only reason i watched it) it was the gayest movie ever! the problem is that the cops knwo that the aftermarket scene is huge and with all the aftermarket parts u can buy to bolt on that give u performance in various ways, they know its easy $$$. bcoz u never see hundreds of aftermarket tuning arms offering a variety of parts for holdens and ford to gain easy HP do you. thats rite bcoz there isnt alot of easy bolt on mods for them really compared to turbo imports. the funniset thing i seen the other day was a VR SS SEDAN with a "milk and juice comes in two litres" sticker that passed me on the bruce hway sunday when i was coming back from brisbane but he had clear bolt on taillights. now to me his sticker is trying to burn 4 cylinders and turbo cars, but its ok for him to buy mods for his car tha orginated from 4cyl and turbo cars! what a fu

Yea the oposing sticker to that is "only cheap wines come in 5 liters" or "Id have taken the v8, but I was in a hurry"

I thought you said 2mm too wide. Did you mean 2mm larger rolling diameter? And he is wrong. It is measured at the time, so you can actually do a burnout and wear them down. If they are half worn, you can knock like 3 mm off the total rolling diameter.

The reason why they don't pull over bikes is because they are chicken5hit pu55ies.

An 18inch tyre is absolutely positively gonna have a greater load rating than what came out standard.

What is your load rating on the tyres now?....I'm gonna find out for you.

It should say close to the size....like 225/35/18 with 96z near it or something like that.

    • Hmm. I should have thought of the clutch bleeding issue. It should be #1 thought for "can't select gears". As to "sounds like the top".....have you actually gone out with the stethoscope and tried to pin it down any more than that? And, buy or borrow a timing light, and set the timing properly.
    • I don’t really have any ideas how to set the timing on the CAS 😂, sounds like the top, sounds like it maybe misfiring as well as ticking,  got the box sorted 😌, must of been a air bubble on the clutch side
    • Use a 2' length of hose (that's 2 foot, not 2 inches) as a stethoscope to localise the source of the ticking. From cam covers? From exhaust or turbo manifold gasket? From injectors? From lower down in the engine? Etc. Use a timing light to set the timing. Put Redline Lightweight Shockproof in the box. It's not the very best thing for the box, but it will take a box that refuses to engage a gear with other oil, and make it engage a gear. I had to put it in when I installed the R33 box I have in my car. It would not select ANY gear when running. Smurf jizz made it work. That was >10 years ago and I still use it. I'm stuck with it now. Failing that - rebuild the box.
    • Well done Duncan. The fuel tank bulkhead lid is also in great condition (some of mine were stuffed). These are now out of production and good ones like that are becoming hard to come by.
    • Wow that's a steal, you've done well there.
