Hey i just noticed my car start farting when i down change today... i have never noticed this before...

I was thinking perhaps it is due to the fuel surge, i have started this weekend..

Will installing new fuel pump, and replacing fuel filters, fix this issue.. or is there something else that may be the cause

my car has been doing it since i had changed to powerfc (running rich from the tune). the general popping and farting is from it running rich and burning off excess fuel. have you done your oxygen sensor ever? if its dead (only lasts 40,000k) then it will run rich and waste fuel (check in maitenance thread)

Does it fart while decelerating or only just as you select the gear to decelerate?

If its farting while decelerating then its possible your TPS isn't adjusted properly as when you are off the throttle in the skylines they are supposed to cut fuel. Hence why the PFC reading flicks to 0% duty cycle and the settings on in the Rev/Idle section of the PFC.

Mine doesn't fart with the PFC. Stock use it used to pop and some times backfire as I would let the clutch out to decelerate.
