central locking or alarm?

well I gotta problem. When I lock the car with my alarm, the doors dont lock but the alarm gets activated. The lock switch moves in half way when the alarm gets activated but doesn't lock the car..anyone know how to fix this problem?

I had the same problem on my 32. Due to the car only having central locking, not remote central fitted standard, an extra motor was needed when the alarm was fitted to give me my remote access. The connection between the new remote motor and my standard door locks was slipping resulting in unlocked but alarmed car being left everywhere:(

Yeah problem is fixed now, bit dodgy but, they used cable ties (electrical zip ties) to secure the two motors together, so as the remote actuates the standard central locking.
