NOTE: These are so cheap because they are classed as "factory seconds" as such, just means no packaging and no sticker. Im trying to get the stickers (5 speed stickers) individually but can't seem to find them (I am still looking)

I can get the ones with stickers in the box for around $140 in the colors listed.

Yes they are screw type.

They will fit all cars, although some may require slight modding (eg. silicon, or special tape of some sort etc.)

Cheers

Greg

The gearknob is about 7cm long.

Everyone that has requested one has been added ;)

I will send PM's out when the gearknobs are in stock and then you can make payment to my Commonwealth Bank account. This will only be done once the gearknobs are in stock.

Cheers

Greg

I have had one of these gear knobs for bout a year now and just letting everyone know that after a couple of months the aluminum starts to go really bad. Mine is now very faded and has dots all over it. I can polish it but after a good drive it faded again.

Sorry didnt mean to take away from the group buy, just wanted to let u know my experience with this knob. It is a very good looking gear knob and EXAUNV has got them for a really great price as i paid $170 for mine ;)

Mike

;)

Im willing to get one.

Im interested in what you have to say about the above comment though.

Shaun.

Hi Shaun, im organising a group buy for you guys.

What would you like me to day about the above comment? There isnt a lot I can say, I havent had mine for long at all so I cant say what it will be like in 6-12 months time.

If people are going to buy these gearknobs then thats fine, if they dont, then ill take to groupbuy somewhere else. Im not too fussed, just thought I could help a few people out by getting them stuff at more than 50% off...

From now on if people want to be added please PM me to confirm.

Cheers

Greg

hey EXAUNV,

Sorry mate i wasnt trying to ruin your group buy by my comment, just wanted to state my experience with this gear knob. I think that maybe if u could get the carbon fibre ones they would stay in a lot better condition as the only aluminum bit is on the top of it.

As i said, these gear knob are being sold at a GREAT price.

:P

No problems HKS-R33.

Unfortunately the only 1 the supplier can get me at this price is the chrome ones.

I just installed mine yesterday and i LOVE It.. Looks and feels great...

Yeah, im still in; its a great price. I was just wondering if you had the same experience as HKS-R33. Im unaware of how long you've owned one of these gear knobs. Ive got a Momo one thats done exactly the same thing; maybe you cant avoid it.

    • I noticed something. On the tps sensor and the sensor behind the adjustment screw is adjusted towards the far left. Are these screws supposed to be centered? (this sensor was in the same position before the tune as well)  Also attached a photo of where my car usually idles at when warm (sometimes a tiny bit above that). I think I might have screwed up the calculation and it might have better than I thought lol at 750rpm still not 650rpm though.
    • So for both general interest of engine health, and to rule out any coolant/oil issues, I organised an oil analysis done on the 125,000klm oil Results below, all good, just a bit of fuel dilution which I'm not too worried about
    • This is actually a really good way of measuring what wheels fit. If only there was a similar measurement between hub face and suspension :p That said, it's probably pretty simple to actually measure it all with the wheel off the car for the rear. The front is a bit more complex but..
    • Being the top Google search result for R34 wheel-related inquiries, lemme throw down my experience. I calculated that 100mm from hub face to wheel face is about the perfect fitment for my ENR34 sedan.  I've been running 18x8.5s, ET35, with a 1" spacer. So, 8.5in to mm = 216mm. 216/2 = 108mm. 108-35 = 73mm. 73+ 25 (1" to mm) = 98mm.  If you wanna get close to this on dif widths, here are the offsets you'll want: 9" - ET around 15mm 9.5" - ET around 20mm 10" - you're crazy, but ET around 30mm All these should fit perfectly on a non-widebody, non-GTR Skyline. Note that it's probably the absolute max, and you're probably better off running a couple degrees of camber in this config, but it looks great, super flush.
