Guys / Gals,

I am looking at getting some more power out of the old girl, what sort of Turbos should I be looking at????? I would like maybe a size or two bigger than the T25's / T28's the GTR comes with......Would like the car to remain street mannered, but am looking for more of a track set up than a drag weapon....

Engine Mods are.

N1 Oil Pump

N1 Water Pump

Jun Sump Baffle

HKS Front Pipes

3" Exhaust From Cat Back.

28 Row Oil Cooler

Running .61 Bar

Nismo Clutch

Brakes and Suspension are all taken care of.

I'm running 2530's on mine with decent results .made 370rwhp@4500rpms 1.2bar boost on a 2wd dyno dynamics dyno the other day we didn't go any further cause it showed the car leaning out but this was later to be proved wrong. Willl be replacing the stock dump pipes in the coming week and looking to move up to 1.3 bar . I've traped 115mph with the current setup on a 30deg night will be looking to trap 120mph+ by the middel of the year with the same turbs.

wrxhoon on here has N1 turbo's on his r33 GTR at 1.2bar running PFC (tuned by Ben at Bel performance) stock fuel system and even air box ran 11.7@120mph on a nice cool night last year . The n1's are a good bang for your buck turbo and are pretty easy to come by these days you can't go wrong .

Also like you mentioned for circuit racing and street driving you can't go wrong with either the N1's or 2530's they have the same response as stock turbo's but don't run out of puff up high . If you really want to spend the moneu though you can go for the HKS GT-RS's which are better then both mentioned at everything .

Dont ask here.. everyone has a different expirence and a different car. your just gonna get a thousand different answers.

Find a tuner, speak to them about what you want to do and get them to recomend something in your price range and that will get you the power and response that you want.

HKS GT-SS, R34 N1, GT2530s... They're all much of a muchness. You'll get about 340-360awkw from them all on a safe circuit racing tune. The GT2530s will be about 500rpm laggier than the other two, but make a bit more power.

They're all good choices, and you can't go wrong.

Despite 7heavn's advice, don't go for GT-RS unless you're going to stroke the motor out to 2.8 or 3.0 litres.

I kind of agree with Andrew on the GT-RS thing. The fact that some of the quickest street and open class GTRs around Tsukuba still use 2530s tells me that for a near stock capacity GTR circuit car, they are good shit.

We have a full kit of low klm HKS 2530s coming avail soon, currently on our race car making 405AWKW. This is the full kit (stainless manifolds and dump pipes, wastegate actuators and all inlet and intercooler piping and all bolts pipes and associated equip) let us know if you are interested.
