Importing items *not cars* eg, computer parts

Hi

I'm wondering if any one has imported anything like computer parts or stuff from the US. I've bought a monitor on eBay from the US & having it shipped via USPS. It's arrived in Australia now at the Alexandria FedEX Depot but it's been held up there for 6 days with 'Clearance Delays' on the tracking history. I'm F#cking outraged because i paid a sh#t load in shipping for GXG *guaranteed in 2-3 days*, $2000 on this monitor, & nobody I contact from USPS or FedEX can help me or tell me what’s going on. It's bloody bullsh#t.

So has anybody had the same problem, how long was it held up for. Im assuming FedEX is just passing it by customs but why the f#ck is it taking so long.

Owwww & if you knew this is the monitor you've already paid for & it so close yet so far away, you might have an understanding of how pissed off i am right now...
