what is that switch near the indicator on r32s?

hi all , i'm just wondering what is that switch that is near the driver's air con vent on r32's(near the indicator ). the switch has a large and small fan pic on it. i think it has got something to do with air con, but i dont know whats it for and where the air con is coming from once the switch is on

Can you explain which switch you are talking about a little bit more clearly, or even better, a photo? Just can't think of the switch you are talking about. What year 32?

this is series2 pic ,mine is a series1 1989 but yea its at the same place

That switch is for the air purifier on the rear parcel shelf, yours may of been fitted with it, its a factory option, someone recently posted all the factory options, if the previous owner tried putting speakers in the rear they prolly ripped it out coz its fu(king annoying, as it inhibits you from removing the parcel shelf, unlike most other electric items its power supply isnt on a nice unclippable plug setup.

But yeah, thats what my switch does, fast and slow speed for big vs little fans....
