what oil is good oil

hi, I NEED to drop the oil on my R32 RB20DET and i dont know what oil to use. the car has about 70,000km and its all stock...i have know idea what rating i should be looking for (e.g 15W50, 20W50) and also what brands are good brands (and available in sydney)

I use Motul 300V Chrono 10W40. Its a full synthetic oil and my car seems to love it. It will set you back around $140 - $150 though for enough oil and a filter per change.

Cheaper options are Mobil 1 and Castrol Formula R I think it is.

I use motul 8100 5/40 .. $60/bottle and a filter (JIC or something).

I'll be using a heavier weight in summer.. car way too hot for 5/40 in summer.

55 bux a bottle last time i got some also possibly change your fuel filter why doin oil ?

but I get it for $44 in sydney.
