Fatz diagnosed the squealing as the wear markers so I figured I should change the fron pads at some stage.

Now I was going to post this as a bit of a joke but a question has occured to me.

It seems by looking at this pad, or what's left of it, that my brakes are braking unevenly. They must be braking harder towards the outside of the disc than on the inside. Is this a problem? Should I be worried?

How did you put up with that god-awful noise for so long?

Anyway, probably not a bad idea to overhaul the calipers. I saw a case of 4-spotters on a 260Z where only 1 or 2 of the 8 pistons actually moved!

lol i agree i can believe you didnt either

a: notice the god aweful sound coming when you braked

b: notice little chunks of metal around you wheel.

anyways good idea to probably make sure your discs are ok if it has been metal on metal (and yes i know brake pads have metal but you know what i mean :rofl:)
