Hey intrested in importhing through jspec and was wondering if anyone has had any good or bad experiances with them?

not looking for your cousins sisters friends brothers mates story, preferable if its your story from your experiances.

I purchased my R32 GTR through J-Spec. I think importing no matter who you use will have it's ups and downs. The best advice I can give you is do lots of homework in regards to:

Importing regulations and compliance, get your own contact at shipping agent used to import your car, be ready to wait and wait some more. The guys at J-Spec are nice and have some wicked cars ready for import - I'm happy with my car and thats the only reason I think I can look back and justify the effort and anguish placed on a person who decides to import from Japan + I saved a shit load of money compared to Aussie market price. I've had VERY good dealings with Phil Cathcart (Primo on these forums), or else I guess Prestige since they're local to us Dim1 ... JSpec and a lot of others over east in my experience don't care for WA customers

What are you looking to buy, cant make bad comments on the forums and read all of these posts, you dont need to use a broker on most cars.

It is more to do with who the car is bought off in Japan or who inspects/buys it for you, their isnt much difference if you want to waste $1,100 as they all spam the same shitters, average and mint cars out.
