Hi Guys,

I know that a bolt-on turbo KIT will likely come with a manifold, wastegate, dump pipe, oil and water lines and the corresponding turbo but in the situation....

When an advertisement for a turbo (turbo only) says that it is bolt on , does this mean that this turbo will bolt to the standard manifold without modification (ie, no need for an external wastegate or flange modification)?

Also, does this mean that the standard oil and water lines need not to be changed?

Any help would be great. Thank you.

Regards

Steve

Hi Ben,

would this include no mods to the water and oil lines? ie, stock oil and water lines can be used...

It depends on what type/model of turbo you have. I believe the trust turbos dont have water cooling, so that may need to be blocked off. Stand to be corrected though.

HKS /Garrett have both Oil and Water lines.
