It should come with eight of everything.

I asked for the sj6070 kit but they said there was no stock but they had the protex kit in over night.

I paid $54 including inward freight plus postage to me. It came as a kit for one caliper but they sent me a second kit no charge as they quoted it as axle set.

Ah, after some phoning around this morning it seems that the ABS system shows 0 stock and 0 on backorder of SJ6070, and no linkings to 210E0011, which is definately the superceded part number. ABS in Melb quoted me $40 for the kits, but wernt sure that it was an axle set, or just a single.

Lucien, is the set an axle set or just a single one?

I just rang Perth Brake Parts, who didn't have a listing for my car (R32 GTR) and told me I would need to remove the calipers and take to them to be measured up so they could find an equivalent. As I only have one car and I kinda need to drive it wherever it needs to go to be seen to, this isn't really an option for me....

So I rang my local Nissan dealership, who want $247.10 for a kit to do the rear calipers, which consists of RUBBER ONLY. This is absolutely ludicrous!!

I read through most of this thread but couldn't work out whether you guys were talking about R32 GTR's using the same kits as a Z32, or R32 GTS-t's??

If someone could clarify or PM me the info I need it would be greatly appreciated....I'm getting nowhere fast here. I have a leaking caliper, and a motorsport event on next week that I have already paid for.... :D I am located in WA but I don't care if I have to get something sent over from NSW or Vic....

To consolidate a few posts:

SJ6024 is an axle kit

210E0011 is a single caliper kit (just found out the hard way)

Not sure about SJ6070

As R32 GTR calipers are apparently the same as R33 GTSt calipers, the part numbers should be the same.

@Fiona: If you're still looking for the kits, shoot a pm over and I'll order some from over east, sounds like it's a lot cheaper. That is, if you haven't sorted it already.

The wheels are now off the car. The Metalcast paint is waiting to be picked up from the auto shop and I'm hoping they also have a 36mm socket with a 1/2in drive! And a piece of lead pipe to extend my breaker bar!

I'll report back on Sunday night with how things went over the weekend.

Ok. Rotors have been fitted. Calipers have been painted and overhauled. The overhaul sounds more exciting that it really is. They should rename it to "replacement of rubber seals and a good wipe down".

Calipers have been painted and refitted. Pads refitted. Brakes bled. Wheels on. Took it for a drive...

Back to school, brakes need a pump before they have enough pressure to operate properly. Thinking things through I think I may have removed the bleeder hose before locking the nipple on one of the calipers. Damn.

Anyway, the braking that I did do was such a huge improvement, I am looking forward to rebleeding tomorrow night and trying again.

Oh yeah, bent the socket rod using the water pipe trying to crack the 19mm bolts at the front  Wasn't a cheap set either. Grrr.

Mark

You may find the last 1 or two air bubbles work their way to the top after a short drive. Give them a little bit to work properly. I always have the same thing happen. Just check the reservior after and top it up. It needs a good few brakes to work 100%

Bled them again the other night. No need to pump anymore, yay, but it is still a little spongy and you can't heel-toe anymore.

Thanks Black32, I've driven it for 100km or so, so I'll have another go as soon as I can build up the motivation! :(

Any RB74s are squeak free! :( CRC Anti-Squeal Paste then bed in as instructed by Racebrakes and haven't heard a peep, hurrah! The ABS works too!
