hey guys i need help..........

i have had a front mount installed recently and since then i have had over heating problems....

the radiator was cleaned out the other day (was 80% blocked) and the thermostat has been changed yet still it heats up...............

tends to only get hot after around 30-40min and worse when going up long hills............

any help or ideas would be appreciated guys thanks

If the radiator has just been flushed and there are no issues with fluid leaks. then it is possible that due to the intercooler taking the majority of the coldest air the radiator is no longer getting sufficient airflow. Actually not really airflow just that the air it is now receiving will be hotter as the intercooler has first dibs on the coolest air. A bigger radiator could solve this problem.

like others have said, it wud be ur front mount - since that is what u installed prior to overheating...

-u cud try adding spacers to the bonnet to lift it up slightly for better flow through the engine

-bonnet vents

-bigger radiator

-a non-restrictive front grill and/or front bar (vents and holes etc)

-more fans

-better coolant.
