SR is an alloy block, 4cyl

RB is a cast iron block, 6cyl

heaps of other differences... stock for stock, I think the RB has *slightly* more power, but *slightly* less torque...

someone who can be bothered to explain it all will be able to help out further :(

Does anyone know what SR stands for?  Cause RB was for Race Bread.
