It was a great race. The bout between Ralph and Webber kept me watching. Ralph was a bit harsh on the "drift" that he pulled on webber round the 30th lap but was a great fight while it lasted.

No tyre change = boring.

F1 before was a little more exciting when drivers had an engine for qualifying and race. Set of tyres for qualifying and race. Qualifying was more exciting cause the drivers would really trash the car to get the most out of it.

These days I don't see the point of 4 practice sessions and 2 qualifying sessions just to get a race set up. Qualifying doesn't play a major role now cause qualifying setup IS race setup.

But then again it's all to do with cost cuttings etc... so I'll just have to live with it. Better than oval racing.

yeah the annoying thing is that there arent any pitlane battles anymore. no real excitement.

Kimi got shafted..he had leapfrogged webber and schu and had a podium for sure. I'm glad he pumped out the fastest lap though and JPM pulled out a creditable 4th.

Nothing like a McLaren win though!
