Best/Cheapest freight company?

Ive got a front bar on the Gold Coast that i need to get to Sydney.

I have been quoted at least $230 by a couple of companies.

It seems a bit pricey. Does anybody have any recommendations or is this a normal price?

Toll Transport is really good, i don't reckon they would charge that much, they go on a weight by area measurement.

I'm sorry I can't help you but this would be a great idea for everyone to put down there experiences with freight companies good or bad so others know where and who to go to.

Maybe it could be turned into a sticky so everyone could have easy access as the For Sale section seems to be very busy.

I received a parcel from TNT that had been crushed and the item broken and they didn't care too much.

Startrack express seem to do a good job, nothing broken.

Pack and Send are ok but the item I received was a bit pricy for Freight.

I used Bus Freight to get a front bar from NSW to Melb and it cost me $130. No problems with them. Maybe you could give them a try.

i have had problems with every freight company just about one thing i can tell you is not to go with coast line they are cheap and nasty i have had 7 cars damaged with them and none of them are back to original condition. i gues the best piece of advice i coud give you is ask 1 is it insured 2 what are the terms 3 what is the exact date your item will arive. if they brake any of thoes comitments ask for a refund be very firm as they brake shit all the time and have big insurance bills they can aford it trust me they are makeing millions. toll transitions got 50 million from the government last year not bad for a years work.

fastway couriers are the go. i had a r32 rear spolier sent from melb to sydney for $66.00. arrived in perfect condition.
