hey every1,

mah cousin recently entered the exciting world of skyline ownership & after seeing my car bought herself a nice R33, excellent condition an really low Ks. BUT I noticed that her wheels only have 4 studs/spokes. I'm confused as I have only ever seen R33s with 5 studs on the wheel, She's not really into cars so she's got no idea either (bought it coz she thinks itz sexy). I'm just wondering if this is normal or if the dealership sold my cousin a shifty skyline.

I'm also a little concerned about how the car is a 1993 but only has about 66,000kms on the meter :uhh:

Her car is a 1993 series 1 R33 coupe, N/A though

What's your opinion?

when i was looking for my r33 there were heaps with very low KM eg 52 and 60 to me they all just seemed abit sus.  if its a 93 the car has only done 5000km a year. thats less than 100 a week. She could be lucky but then again there are lots of dodgy bastereds out there

I drive around 100ks a week.

And I hope she didnt think it was a turbo that she was buying and got ripped off !

aww nah she knows what a turbo sounds like thanx to my car  but her folks didn't want her to get a turbocharged car, an her insurance is heaps cheapa den mine

As fer da really low k's the car looks really top notch. a few scratches on the side of the bumper but that's understandable. As fer performance the engine bay looks well maintained an it runs smoothly an quietly, all points that this car is on the level :(

It'll make fer a really nice daily driver

last night i made it to 360kms when the needle was below the 'E' on the fuel gauge.. was basically driving slowly up hill and letting it roll in neutral downhill

360kms in 53L - crap. :P

i think it's getting worse now.. i drove about 50kms and it's dropped from full to halfway between full and the second line - i wasnt even driving it hard AT ALL last night :

    • Plan on the day will be to park trackside. Depending on space availability we will try put a small shade tent and a few of the cars on top of the hill inside turn 3, this is an easy to get to parking area with views of Turn 2, Turn 3, Turn 4 and Turn 5 and limited other pieces of the view around the track. IMPORTANT NOTE! One consideration from previous years is from memory the trackside parking sells out before the admission tickets, for that reason I encourage anyone planning on coming to buy tickets for parking now via the official website; https://www.worldtimeattack.com/ The type of parking you are looking for is 2 Day Park & View (Access Around Venue) Vehicle Pass Only Please note this does not include admission to the event itself, remember to grab that also, and kids under 12 get in for free!

    • Good time for a carbon roof
    • Not in any way aroused by any of those, except maybe the big AMGs. And that would break my never a Euro, ever, rule.
