hi all, i have 93 r33 gtst. im havin a few problems with it at the moment and cant work out whats wrong. first of all. when im cruisin around the oil pressure seems to go up to 8kg/cm or higher. im changed oil and oil filter but still the problem remains. has anyone had similar problems? problem 2 i seem to have a very rough idle at times to the point where it stalls, also when accelerating moderately it seems to stutter and go no where just as i start to compress. under heavy accel problem does not accur

Stop driving it NOW!!!!

You will bend valves. the problem IS that the oil pressure release valve is stuck or sticking, take it to a mechanic, they will need to remove the oil pump and sump most likely.

Recommendation would be seeing as you are at Morayfield, take it to Peninsula Mechanical Repair at Clontarf, do not over rev it, ask for Simon or Tim, tell them Neill recommended them!!!

imagine where you would be without them?

$650...thats friggin HIGHWAY ROBERRY...an N1 pump is not even that much.

Ring around as that seems excessive...

If my memory serves me the pressure release valve is in the pump, but I was of the belief that this could be repaired rather than replace the whole pump
