hey guys,

does anyone know how to disable the boost sensor so that it dosent cut my fuel when i run too much boost.....

anyone help please

i have a rb20 powered r32gts-t

any replies be appreciated

The factory map sensor only runs the dash guage, there is no input to the ecu.

The afm signal is what will cut the fuel (if there is a cut), though i could max mine at about 4500 rpm and never had an issue with fuel cuts.

I've encountered a fuel cut on the stock R32 ecu due to injectors reaching 100% duty cycle. At 100% duty cycle there is still a little left in the std AFM's voltage.

The RB20DET required with its std turbo around 17psi to hit 100% duty cycle.

Some times 15-16psi @ ~5500rpm when the air is icy cold.

15psi made 164rwkw. 17psi may be say 170rwkw. or just over.

The RB30DET, the fuel cut was a alot earlier with much less boost.

Cruise on the dyno at 3000rpm start put the foot down boost spools instantly and fuel cuts when boost hits 8-9psi. The AFR's lean out really quickly to 13:1+.

The Fuel cut saves the motor.

8-9psi at 3000rpm stock turbo with the rb30det is around 130rwkw when it cuts.

That doesn't really make a lot of sense as shouldn't the injectors make 160-170rwkw before maxing out????

In short.. Don't remove the fuel cut unless you want to build a new motor. :P
