What is the life expectancy of a "high performance" cat converter?

In a rich running high output motor (GTR), how many kays would one expect out of a cat converter?

I ask this as my tuner thinks that cats tend to die quickly in skylines etc because of heat and clogging...

When i installed mt TD06 at 150,000kms i also installed a brand new 3" Catco.

Two weeks ago when the car was dynod with/without the same cat at 176,000kms the thing went from 230rwkws at 18psi to 258rwkws at 22psi. So was obviously a restriction n the exhaust to the order fo approx 4psi. With it removed and re-tuned at 18psi i made a comfortable 5rwkws more, and withouth the 4psi back pressure in the exhaudst the turbo spools up sooner and i imagine the combustion chamber runs a bit cleaner/cooler.

Cat is now back on the car for day to day drivign and you can actually notice the difference is spool:( But thats ok, how quick do i need to get to that red light up ahead:)

I have head that for a stocker car eg ford holden what ever its 60,000 to 100,000 then there useless.
