Windscreens

Hi peoples,

Just recently got a huge crack in my windsheild from a passing truck . just wondering where the best place to get/or where other people have sourced windscreens. I've tried the local windscreen places but they mainly just humm and harr and pretty much waste my time. best i could get was a windsheild with the nanna spec blue tinting up the top...wouldnt be happy with that.

i'm going to try wreakers, but before i sit down i ring them all, i though one of the fine folk at SAU would be able to point me in the right direction

like you said - check the wreckers.. like just jap? dunno where u r in qld.

another way is to check the For Sale section for people wrecking cars.

ring up somebody who makes the glass, tell them your car model, find out who stocks it ..

if you have any success, for godsakes post what you found.. too many go 'where do i get this' do the ring around, fix the problem, don't post anything, then the next guy comes along and asks exactly the same question..
