Downforce
If you only want around 220-230kw at the tires..... I'd suggest a HKS GT2535, GT2530 or GT-RS turbo, you'll also need a hi-flow fuel pump.. may get away with the stock injectors. pinoi_boi_r33
hi flow the stocker i say. best response, cop and epa friendly. 100% bolt on. All the aforementioned turbos may bolt on to the manifold but most will require oil/water fittings. If its a stocker high flow, u can get any mechanic to do it or do it urself. Ie u don't have to take it to a "specialist" workshop that would charge thru the roof. R31Nismoid
you'll need injectors. go a 2535/gt-rs, or a garret 450HP turbo. should bolt on, in stock position so they all look stock too Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/68292-what-turbo-to-get/#findComment-1266862 Share on other sites
pinoi_boi_r33
you may get away without injectors with FPR and fuel pump. if you are only aiming at 220 rwkw. Ronin 09
Why don't you buy Interloper's highflow R34 turb? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/68292-what-turbo-to-get/#findComment-1267013 Share on other sites
paulr33
hey scott if you want 220rwkw then go for a highflowed of your current turbo, should go same response as the stock turbo if you want a bit more say 250rwkw then go hks gt-rs (its a gts-t turbo despite the name). it will be a little bit more laggier than your stocker but certainly the most suited to a mild rb25, theres stacks of dyno graphs with rb25 and hks gt-rs however either way youll need to upgrade the following if you are still using the stock rb25 items: airflow meter (youll be maxing the afm out) injectors (youll be running dead on 100% duty or like 5% below at the moment) fuel pump (it will be running out and can lean the car out, mine leaned out at 172rwkw) clutch (youll be slipping with 220ish, definetly with 250) again those arent 100% guaranteed but im maxing everything out at 172rwkw, youd certianly be maxing it out just as much if not a bit more at 200rwkw Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/68292-what-turbo-to-get/#findComment-1267043 Share on other sites
