Just wondering if anyone has seen cefiro keys anywhere on the net??? woulnt mind a couple as mine is getting old.

Ive got a key like that, mine looks equally worn aswell!

They seem to be the same as most other nissans, I might just get a nismo one cut or something. When can i get them cut? Are there auto lock smiths?

Most shoe repair shops will cut them. I got one done in 5mins, and that included waiting to be served.

I thought car keys might have different requirements

Mister Mint etc, those sorta places. Its just a standard nissan key. My cef key can open my mums pulsar door. Should be right.

But I want one of those fancy pants ones reallly bad!

That's true, however you may find that your current key has a small number stamped on it. Take the key to a proper locksmith and they can generate a copy from the number that is *identical* to the original key on the day it was produced (ie. not 10-15 years of wear and tear). Should cost about $10.

The cefiro key is teh same as r33 , r32 etc.. so any skyline key will work (GTR, nismo etc).

Anyone wanting cefiro keys should look up SE. Asian countries where this was looked up.. p'raps Funky can help us out?

In China the cefiro is still sold (in a different guise) but their OEM keys would definately have that logo on it.

I had a quick look on Yahoo JP. No Cefiro keys, but I did find an Autech key

Yeah i got an original too, but it started to snap, so i just got a spare cut to use.

But i would love to get a ceffy one from nissan, but i heard they charge about $80.

I might just have to settle for a nismo one.
